When in doubt, play a record again. This one certainly grew on me. It is not easy to make interesting remixes of a great artist, but some really nailed it.
This 2001 album by Mercury France is a strange one. When you don't really pay attention to what the music and use it as background, you lose any connection with Serge Gainsbourg his work. But the artists on this album did not just come up with these remixes without a good basic sound. Listening closer this is quite an interesting record. Although there are only 4 tracks on the whole album, it will take me somewhat longe to really figure out what to think of this, but at second instance I am not disappointed.
