Every note played on this record is pure delight. Your feet just starts tapping on the beat, memories pop up in my mind, I cannot resist to smile.
Of course Serge Gainsbourg is known for his great lyrics, his poetry and wordplay. Add to this perfect timing, and some warm sounds of brass instruments and this record is complete (Philips, year unknown). Maybe I am cutting a few corners here, but what more is there to say? Just put the record on, close your eyes and open your ears.
